Mish Shell, a talented singer songwriter from Queensland possesses a soulful voice enriched by her multi-cultural roots. Having delved into poetry and mastering piano from a young age, Mish moved onto guitar as a teenager. Discovering the power of turning words into songs changed her life overnight. With a voice like honey she is able to powerfully deliver hard hitting messages with grace.

As a multi-instrumentalist, she displays her personal prowess as a dedicated musician effortlessly transitioning between vocals, bass and guitar. She somehow makes it look like a dance. She doesn’t just play music, she embodies the music itself, channeling its essence through every instrument she touches. Drawing inspiration from various genres such as folk, rock, jazz, pop and dance she brings a diverse and captivating sound to her music. 

A passionate wordsmith armed with the power of her lyrics, Mish has embarked on various crusades for change. With unwavering dedication, she hit the road, tirelessly working to raise awareness about the consequences of proposed man-made tragedies on our environment, aiming to ignite intention for positive transformation within communities.

Mish Shell has left an indelible mark with her powerful songs, such as ‘Poison in the Water’ written in the Pilliga, ‘Power of the People’ and ‘Thank you Colton Coal Mine’ which went viral and are believed to have played a pivotal role in preventing the destruction of The Mary River. Moreover, her song ‘Lovely’ takes centre stage as the featured soundtrack for the internationally streamed Aussie TV series Hard Knock Life.

Continuing her musical journey, Mish is now exploring collaborations with various band outfits as a talented lyricist, vocalist, guitarist, and bassist. Her captivating performances have graced the stages of renowned festivals like Wintermoon, The Great Barrier Reef Festival, Mushroom Valley, and the Airlie Beach Festival of Music, enchanting audiences along her travels.
